International rating agency Fitch has confirmed at BB + and suspend the rating on the eligible unsecured debt securities of the Portuguese government, ITAR-TASS, citing the agency’s message.
Also confirmed at C and is stopped down rating the program for short-term securities.
The Communication notes that despite the withdrawal of assessments for these types of Portuguese state securities agency will continue to assess long-and short-term rating, which remained unchanged from November 24 last year.
Usually the termination of the evaluation ratings in two cases – when information is insufficient to experts of the agency or when declaring bankruptcy. Now analysts say that not enough information.
